Since joining CRST in 2019, Big Country has driven over 750,000 accident-free miles. His passion for the industry has drawn the attention of teammates and customers. However, Big Country says it’s the sense of purpose that drives him most.“As long as goods need to be moved from point ‘A’ to point ‘B,’ there will always be a need for me as a driver to be able to provide for my family,” said Big Country.

“In my career, I have met some really great people, and it allows me to fulfill a purpose to help as many people as I can.”

In promoting his nomination, Big Country’s colleagues highlight his infectious pride and dedication to the company and the significant impact he has made on the team and the profession.

Big Country wants to empower and develop drivers and build the CRST driver team to be the best. As our senior lead driver for our Health Science Plasma business unit, he is a trainer, mentor, veteran and, most of all, a very humble person,” said Clint Walker, CRST senior operations manager. “His genuine care for others shows in his personal and professional life. He represents everything that is great in trucking, including a random helping hand to other drivers at stops. We need more people like him.”
