Transportation Administrator – Pharma
Job Summary: The Transportation Administrator – Pharma is responsible for monitoring and tracking load and reefer temperature information and other data per customer requirements. This role ensures operations provides excellent customer service while meeting customer and CRST performance goals for the pharma OTR division.
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Sat, and E/O Wed. 6pm to 6am. Due to the non-traditional schedule, this role is eligible for additional pay via shift differential. Our shift differential pays an additional $2,400 the first year, $3,600 the second, and $4,800 the third year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track the pharma loads, including monitoring all temperature readings for pharma health-science trucks.
- Update Trailer Temperature Check binder, perform temp checks, escalate warnings, and track teams for excessive breaks in 30-minute intervals.
- Contact Driver Manager’s around the need for late notifications for late pick-ups and deliveries, service failures, warming or cooling trends in the trailer, alarms from possible mechanical failures, and other issues as needed.
- Send driver security profiles and information in advance (minimum of 24 hours).
- Provide temperature data to customers.
- Complete customs paperwork for border crossings per customer.
- Clean the ‘whole’ board, to reflect home times, pickups, deliveries, etc. during a weekend shift, if applicable.
- Recover loads when the load planning department is not on-site.
- Perform other DM duties, including assigning trucks/subunits, rentals, hotel rooms, PM appointments, and catching up on driver’s dispatch through QUALCOMM as requested/needed.
- Manage customer e-mails.
- Handle all breakdowns and coordinate with Vehicle Response Team.
- Assist other pharma driver managers when needed, including contacting drivers to get loads accepted.
- Coach Drivers to adhere to CRST and government safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Previous experience in a related field preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
