Quality and Security Analyst

Job Summary: The Quality & Security Analyst is responsible for keeping the Pegasus Quality System and Supply Chain Security Program compliant with various memberships and customer contracts, including overseeing the quality training program and employee security awareness, taking on projects as they arise, managing and overseeing operational websites (OmniTracs, FleetLocate, Magtec, Covisint, etc), and collecting and analyzing data to prepare weekly and monthly reports for the operations, safety, and administration departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Update and improve Document Management System (DMS) to improve efficiency
  • Maintain membership/compliance with ISO 9001:2015, CTPAT, PIP, TSA, Smartway, etc
  • Conduct Quality Training for all employees
  • Maintain ISO & Security Manuals, validating processes and procedures
  • Manage Corrective Action Reporting (CAR) process with operations and customer service
  • Conduct internal and external audits for customers, vendors, and employees
  • Schedule and collaborate on internal audits with operations, equipment, security, and customer service departments
  • Coordinate schedules and resources with customers to arrange for audits
  • Isolate all controlled documentation and maintain secure access for all forms, work instructions, quality processes, quality manuals, and how-to documentation
  • Prepare company KPIs for quarterly management review, and ad hoc KPI visibility
  • Extract & analyze data weekly to track and project freight exceptions trends
  • Communicate process, policy, or business practice changes to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support driving and non-driving partners in understanding new and existing business processes
  • Perform miscellaneous R&D and analysis

Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

  • 6-12 months of previous experience in a related field required
  • A high school diploma or GED is required and a degree in a related field is strongly preferred
  • ISO/Quality experience is strongly preferred
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to report accurately in a timely manner
  • Basic computer skills required
