Primary Account Owner

Position Summary:
As a CRST Capacity Solutions employee, you will be part of our expansion team where you are exposed to the transportation industry, and engaged in real-world problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with different business entities to accomplish company objectives and goals. The Primary Account Owner will have a book of business and generate leads by completing outbound calls and creating rapport with customers.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Grow and manage current portfolio of accounts  

• Through prospecting you will actively engage new customers through, the internet, phone, social media, referrals, and networking that result in obtaining transportation shipments from customers  

• Identify, negotiate, and close sales opportunities through learning and assessing customer needs then proposing and implementing aligned solutions  

• Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership  

• Ensure customer’s billing and payment will processed efficiently  

• Use excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customers  

Qualifications:

• Possess excellent customer service skills  

• Highly driven  

• Must be knowledgeable of transportation solutions  

• Excellent oral communication skills  

• Ability to establish rapport with customers and close sales

• 5 years in transportation or related industry preferred

• High school Diploma or GED required

• AA or BA in a relevant field preferred
