Driver Services Coordinator
CRST Transportation Solutions, Inc. is looking to add a talented Driver Services Coordinator to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Job Summary:
The Driver Services Coordinator is responsible for taking first report calls of accidents and other incidents from drivers and other company personnel, providing those persons with follow-up instructions pursuant to company protocols, recording information about the incident into incident tracking software, and coordinating communications and follow-up with affected employees, contractors, and other departments.
Starting Pay: $16.50/hr. (Paid Bi-Weekly)

Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited To:

Provide Safety Support to employees and independent contractors
-
Take first reports of incidents by phone and record information into incident tracking software. Obtain and file copies of police reports, photos, and other incident-related documents.

Coordinate incident responses with other departments and outside agencies, from on-scene claims adjusters, emergency towing services, and HAZMAT Response Teams.

Communicate with drivers and independent contractors to obtain detailed information concerning incidents and provide action items pursuant to company protocol. Drivers will need guidance to calm down and be able to get needed information.

Generate end-of-shift reports and distribute them as directed

Perform all front desk duties at the Driver Service Center.

Ensure all drivers’ hours of service logs are compliant and when an FMCSA violation is identified all data required for a review is collected, analyzed and a recommended action plan is communicated to the driver managers, safety managers, and safety trainers

Work with Equipment Services to add/remove equipment in the ELD Monitoring System

Other duties assigned by the department manager in accordance with company needs
Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED (required)
-
Successful completion of a CRST background check and drug screen is (required)

Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays (preferred)

Computer literate and able to manage multiple screens at once

Strong customer service background and attitude
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to multi-task and stay organized
