Business Analyst

CRST Specialized Transportation is seeking a results-oriented and company-focused Business Analyst to be located in our Fort Wayne, IN location.

Job Summary: CRST Specialized Solutions division is the carrier of choice for customers requiring on-site, high touch, and specialized handling. We manage deliveries for a wide range of products for the tech, communications, electronics, and healthcare industries (and many more). Our experienced drivers safely load, unload, and set up products for consumers and companies. The Business Analyst is responsible for contributing to the organization's achievement of key operating and financial objectives by performing financial and business-related studies and managing high-impact process improvement projects.

 

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Starting Salary: $19/hour (can vary based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex financial and business data using statistical techniques.
  • Organize and logically express findings/recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, improve cycle time, and/or improve process efficiencies.
  • Support pricing function with rate comparisons, margin studies, and yield improvement initiatives.
  • Assist sales function with carrier review preparations.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement programs and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Must be able to transform raw data into knowledge which increases the business unit's ability to make sound decisions.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • 6-12+ months experience in a relevant field preferred
  • AA or BA in relevant field preferred
