What are the general qualifications?
- You must be at least 21 years old.
- You must pass a DMV/D.O.T. (Dept. of Transportation) physical and a pre-employment drug screen.
- You must have a good driving record and have been licensed in the United States for a minimum of six months in the last three years.
- All criminal convictions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and reviewed by management.
How often is onboarding offered?
Onboarding is held every Monday at each terminal (as well as Wednesday at the Cedar Rapids locations).
What is included in the pre-work screen?
Step test, squat test, front carry, floor to head lift, crouch test, step/step, kneel/kneel, horizontal pull test.
What should I expect with onboarding?
A 2 day onboarding class will take place prior to getting hired with CRST. Onboarding sites are determined by your geographic location. How long do I need to be with a mentor?
You will be with a driver mentor for 21-28 days. Please remember that all new drivers are expected to immediately start driving with their driver mentor following onboarding.
