A business built on trust and service
Deb’s philosophy for success is simple but powerful: Prioritize customer service and build lasting relationships. She knows that in this industry, a moment of frustration can lead to lost opportunities – which is why she emphasizes professionalism, patience and consistency in every interaction.
Her advice for freight agents? Focus on securing freight with well-known or well-established customers, rather than chasing one-off loads. While one-off load board freight can fill in gaps, having a direct line to trusted customers ensures stability and repeat business, reducing the uncertainty that can come with lesser-known freight providers.
Expanding into new freight opportunities
Wolfe Creek Trucking operates three trucks and five trailers, along with partnerships with 10 owner-operators. Three employees manage operations in the office. While flatbed freight has been her agency’s specialty for decades, Deb is excited to expand into dry van freight – especially as CRST shifts van contractor management to Birmingham, Ala., opening new opportunities for growth.
Industry recognition and a commitment to excellence
Deb’s focus on outstanding service hasn’t gone unnoticed. Wolfe Creek Trucking was one of three CRST-partnered agencies recognized by Kloeckner Metals for excellence in service and commitment. In early January 2025, CRST was awarded the Premier Asset-Based Carrier of the Year, an honor that reflects the hard work and dedication of Deb and her team.
Why CRST?
“The people I work with and the support I get are top-notch.”
Since 1995, Deb has been a proud CRST partner, appreciating the strong support system and straightforward communication. “The people I work with and the support I get are top-notch,” she says. “Answers are never far away, and they always shoot straight.”
With decades of experience, a reputation for reliability, and an eye toward growth, Deb Wolfe and Wolfe Creek Trucking continue to be a driving force with CRST and the industry as a whole.
